Paul Jackson who is a watercolor teaching dynamo is coming to Hawaii December 5th to 10th. He will be coming with his family for a special "get warm" teaching experience. Take a look at his incredible website. He's back from China, back from France, and all ours for one dynamic week. We have the class starting to fill.
Wow
Darrel Hill's class was a winner. He has been teaching for years and set a standard for classes here at HAJ. No surprise there. But the great people we had attending... wow. I came to observe for several days and I truly believe everyone present profited, they certainly worked hard. I hope to have pictures posted as soon as I get Marshall (IT major and #1 son) to coach me in Core File Transfer. I was very pleased with the intensity of the class and the hours of painting achieved. This is where we are headed for sure.

Painting by the lagoon.

Why HAJ?
- Intensity We try for the most intense week of your year. All of your art activity should be to the good but this week is full focus, no distractions, great instruction, and full artistic friendship.
- Renewal Re-establish your goals. Find your personal balance. Gain direction. Take a week to do what needs to be done.
- Budget When you realize that this is an all inclusive week at an otherwise very expensive resort... well feel good about your savings.
- Plus, eat wonderfully, sleep as you yearn to sleep, be in nature. Find new friends of common interest; return home refreshed and energized. YOU CAN DO THIS!
