Late this September Costco had up its first Xmas decor. This beat Halloween and Thanksgiving by a goodly margin. For this reason alone I do not feel guilty in being excited by the classes coming in January. We kick off mid-month with heavy hitters Paul Jackson and Darrell Hill. In both cases I feel lucky to have each person coming to teach. I can not get Paul back until December. These are big time folks. They both feel teaching is important and the have made a commitment to it.
It is an odd characteristic of our age that the traditional and the futuristic exist side by side. For example: painting and the internet. One is century s old and the other within our memory and yet they compliment each other. I refer you to the web sites of these two artists and you can see their works. Not as you would see the original items but in the past it would have taken far more effort. Likewise, travel. In the past, months aboard a sailing ship. Now, “http://www.pauljackson.com/” “http://www.darrellhillfineart.com/” Act decisively and intelligently and down with ignorance.
