Watercolors seem to be almost made for painting flowers. Flowers have inspired, attracted, and often frustrated artists for centuries. Flowers have been represented in all mediums with multiple meanings, sometimes hidden or obtuse. However, there is nothing obtuse about the beauty of Birgit O'Connor's work. Her mastery of watercolor florals is the product of a lifetime of effort.
Now I cannot promise that your work will equal hers after a week in Hawaii, but because of her long experience teaching I can almost assure you of real improvement. When you see her schedule you will realize that HAJ is your best chance for concentrated connection with this master. Because of a health issue we don't have a date for 2010 yet.
